Tulip

Tulip

With the sun, shining brightly in the sky,
fondling you with rays of light.

And the rain, pouring down to the ground,
scattering crystal drops in front of your legs.

With the energy, surging up from the soil,
rushing through your body and veins.

And the wind, cradling you softly,
singing you a lullaby.

Each year you are born again,
to make this world more beautiful,
to make the pale spring more colorful.

You have risen from the dirt,
to make everyone smile,
who ever passed you and noticed you,
who ever admired you and loved you.

You have stretched your head towards the sky,
to be seen, to be remembered.

Even when you are gone,
long after the spring is over.
